Mozambique opts for Oracle technology

Johannesburg (IT News Africa) – Mozambique’s Finance Ministry has selected software firm, Oracle, to implement its Enterprise Taxation Management system that will replace the manual registration process.

The new software will increase efficiency and improve the drive to increase tax registrations.

“Oracle is committed to providing tax authorities with the flexible and affordable solutions they need to maintain efficiency, and its standards-based platform and pre-built integrations allow for easy configuration to meet unique requirements.

“We are pleased that Mozambique’s Ministry of Finance selected Oracle Enterprise Taxation Management to deliver a comprehensive offering that allows the organization to configure tax processes to meet its needs while maintaining flexibility,” said John Andrus, vice president and general manager, Oracle Tax Global Business Unit.

Oracle Enterprise Taxation Management will also enable the Ministry of Finance to rapidly respond to tax law and policy. The organization will work with Oracle Consulting and Escopil International on the implementation. –
