Motorola to play pivotal role in Soccerex 2008

motorola_logo.gifLEADING mobile phone giant Motorola will play a prominent part in the upcoming Soccerex 2008 where it will participate in the Licensing and Sponsorship workshop.

Among other panelists will be Global Brands and Italian football giants AC Milan.
Jeremy Dale, Corporate Vice President of Global Marketing Communications, Motorola, will examine Player Sponsorship opportunities with particular focus on Motorola’s sponsorship deal with English superstar David Beckham.
“Soccerex is delighted to announce the final two International Football Club Summit (IFCS) workshops. As part of the new industry-focused approach for Soccerex 2008, the inaugural IFCS will feature essential panels dedicated to Licensing and Sponsorship.
“These panels will feature industry experts discussing and sharing their knowledge on two of the key revenue streams of any sport,” said Soccerex’s Remy Le Mentec.
The Licensing and Sponsorship workshops are just two of six IFCS workshops that will focus on the key revenue streams available to football clubs (Player Development, Stadia, Law & Finance, Media, Licensing and Sponsorship).
Each session will feature 90 minutes of networking, debate and a key note address from the leading figures in each of these industry sectors.

Soccerex 2008, scheduled for Johannesburg on November24-26, will see over 4 000 delegates and 300 exhibitors from the global football industry descend on Gauteng
