Samsung is global market leader in touchscreen devices with 33% of the market share.
According to recent data from ABI Research the 2009 revenue will be in be over $5 billion and Samsung has the lion’s share of this.
Samsung is currently the world leader in touchscreen devices, with 33% of the global touchscreen cell phone market. Motorola is a close 2nd, with 30%. Sony Ericsson comes in third place with 24% of the market, leaving only 13% to be divided amongst the other cell phone manufacturers, such as Apple.
ABI Research data shows that as touchscreen cell phones gain in popularity, the number of devices featuring touchscreen displays will increase dramatically over the next few years.
