Zain Malawi boosts Music industry

Zain keeping it promise of supporting arts and culture has sponsored, has sponsored the Music Crossroads Festival held in Lilongwe by sponsoring K500 000.
Music Crossroads brings talented people together from Southern African countries. The sponsorship from Zain came at the time when Celtel renamed itself to Zain.
Edith Tsilizani, Pubilc Relations Officer of Zain, said they decided to sponsor the event because e the event is a passionate fan of music. She said they are proud to be associated with the event this year

“As you may have already seen our brand stands for a “Beautiful, Radiant and Wonderful world.” I am pleased to note that we have seen some of the most wonderful and beautiful performance this year,” Edith said.
Mathews Mfune, national coordinator of Malawi’s Music Crossroads, said that Zain gave them half a million plus T/Shirts for the participants. They hope that the collaboration will continue. Zain’s PRO said the celebration of their re-branding was done through music.
Promoting arts and culture has been Zain Malawi’s priority and the Warm Heart of Africa has seen the mobile firm bring in high profile artists into the country.
