Integr8 IT, South Africa’s largest privately owned national BEE ICT network integration and infrastructure management specialist and associate to the Integr8 Group, has been identified as the front runner for the Top ICT Project Innovation in Africa Award as presented by ForgeAhead Africa Achievers.

The South African founded company continues to transfer the benefit of strategic managed ICT services to existing and emerging markets throughout the continent.

It has established a firm footing and recognised presence in key regions such as Botswana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia and Tanzania.

The company has a long standing division, known as the Integr8 IT Consulting Services (ICS), which is used as a frontline to engage with businesses throughout the continent in order to provide the most relevant and highest levels of global standards.

Organisers of the 2008 African ICT Achievers Awards have confirmed the first time introduction of three regional awards covering SADC, East & Central Africa and West & North Africa, respectively.

This is not the first time that Integr8 IT has been recognised by organisers of the African ICT Achievers Awards. In 2007 the company received no less than four accolades for four different categories including being noted as the Most Innovative ICT Company on the African continent.

Past successes in these awards include its win of the Top Private CIO of the Year 2005 and its nomination as a finalist in three categories in 2006 including ICT Workplace Provider of the Year.

A synopsis of its participation reveals that Integr8 IT has been up against the likes of Accenture; IBM and Dimension Data.
