Fujitsu Siemens Sells to Black Investors, Business Report Says

Fujitsu Siemens Computers Holding BV, the computer-manufacturing venture between Siemens AG and Japan’s Fujitsu Ltd., sold a stake in its South African unit to black investors, Business Report said, citing the company. Fujitsu Siemens sold 25 percent plus one share in its operations to Thuthukani Investment Consortium, the Johannesburg-based newspaper said.

South Africa’s government is pushing companies from banks to gold miners to sell stakes to black investors to help compensate for discrimination under apartheid, which ended in 1994.
