Google has rolled out a major update to its Gemini AI platform: the ability to access and leverage your search history.
This feature, introduced under the “Personalization (experimental)” setting in Gemini Apps, allows the AI to tailor responses based on your past queries, browsing patterns, and digital habits. This means Gemini can now deliver context‑aware answers—whether you’re asking about a recipe you looked up last week or revisiting a tech article you skimmed yesterday.
Google Gemini’s ability to access search history marks a significant leap in AI personalization. It promises convenience and smarter assistance, but it also raises pressing questions about privacy, transparency, and user trust.
Instead of starting from scratch, Gemini taps into your history to provide continuity and relevance.
For now, this feature is not available in Live chats with Gemini in Chrome.
