Fiorano Software, a leading Enterprise Integration Middleware and API Management specialist, announced that African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), Egypt has chosen the Fiorano Hybrid Integration Platform (HIP) to integrate its cloud-based core banking system, Finacle, with application systems to establish a technology platform for future enterprise integrations.

S.S. Tarakaram (Tarak), Director of Business Development for EMEA at Fiorano Software, says, “Fiorano has obviated Afreximbank’s point-to-point integration method to streamline its complex architecture. It is playing a pivotal role in realizing the bank’s goal of achieving compliance, confidentiality in information transfer, authenticity and integrity in consumer data handling, interdependence during upgrades, and feedback, monitoring capabilities”.

The bank was looking to overcome challenges posed by myriad internally developed integration processes that severely limited scalability. The Fiorano HIP transformed the bank’s IT infrastructure to manage a tangled web of data loading/transfer processes and created a real-time integrated enterprise enabling the right teams to access the right information at the right time.

With the Fiorano platform’s capabilities for innovation and Open Banking with Open APIs, the bank can adapt quickly to market changes and accelerate time-to-market for new products and services for addressing new market opportunities.
