The oft-discussed game-streaming platform Google Stadia will be coming to Samsung, Asus and Razer phones as soon as 20 February, writes The Verge.

Google announced today that Stadia will be working on some Android phones from Samsung, Asus, and Razer. The Stadia, up until now, has only worked on Google’s Pixel phones.

“Stadia is about to play games on WAY more phones,” reads the announcement. “You’ll also soon be able to play on the brand-new Samsung S20 line. More supported phones mean you have even more ways to play games when, where, and how you want with Stadia.”

After 20 February, users will be able to stream games from Stadia on 26 different Android phones, including the Pixel device series. Stadia can also be played on tablets, laptops, desktops, and TVs with Google’s Chromecast Ultra.

“Support for these mobile devices begins later this week. Play on a smartphone you already own with Stadia. Whether you’re using Stadia Founder’s Edition, Stadia Premiere Edition, or a Stadia Buddy Pass, enjoy playing on new phones!”

In January, Google promised to bring more than 120 games to the cloud service in 2020, announcing five of those games last week.

The Stadia coming to Samsung and other Android devices mirrors Microsoft’s Project xCloud service’s own trajectory. The only thing missing now for the Stadia is availability on iOS via iPhone, however, Apple has shown disinterest and even made it very difficult for game streaming services on its platform in the past.

The new list of phones the Stadia will be available with is as follows:

  • Samsung Galaxy S8
  • Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus
  • Samsung Galaxy S8 Active
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 8
  • Samsung Galaxy S9
