
On Friday 6 October 2017 at the 2017 rAge Expo, held in Johannesburg South Africa, Microsoft announced that their latest console, the Xbox One X, will be hitting South African stores in time for Christmas.
The firm confirmed that the console will launch at a reduced price of R7499, for a pre-order period, and will then increase once that pre-order period has concluded.
The announcement comes after Microsoft previously delayed the launch due to the lengthy clearance certification process.
According to Microsoft, the Xbox One X is the most powerful gaming console ever, boasting impressive hardware which allows for an immersive 4K gaming experience.
