According to a report by CNN, Apple has sent out invites for their annual product launch, dated for September 12 2017, where it is widely expected that the company will unveil the all new iPhone 8 along with other products.
According to the Telegraph, the event will be held at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, at Apple’s newly opened California headquarters. The event will also mark the 10-year anniversary of the iPhone.
It is reported that at the event, Apple will introduce three new devices; the iPhone 7S, iPhone 7S Plus and the iPhone 8. In addition the device manufacturers are expected to reveal a new cellular Apple Watch, a 4K Apple TV, and give more details about its upcoming HomePod speaker.
The iPhone 7s is expected to be an upgraded version of the current device, where as the iPhone 8 is expected to feature an overhaul in design, a new advanced camera and facial recognition software.
If Apple follows their traditional procedures, the new phones will go on sale on the Friday of the following week, September 22 2017, although various reports suggest the iPhone 8 may be delayed.
