Africa Celebrates World Emoji Day

Monday, 17th of July, is World Emoji Day. The worldwide celebration for the “little people inside our phones” started in 2014 and was founded by Jeremy Burge, a member of Unicode, an emoji standardisation organisation.

This year World Emoji Day is being celebrated by millions around the world and here are some of the best reactions from Africans on Twitter:
