The 10 winners of the West Africa Mobile Awards, an award show that recognises the region’s best mobile and tech companies, were announced over the weekend at an event in Lagos, Nigeria.
The awards which were sponsored by BBM, Mobile West Africa (MWA), AppsAfrica.com, Wimbart PR, Dress Me Outlet, Kasi Insights drew in over 150 submissions from across 14 countries.
Following the success of last year’s WAMAS, the 2017 edition produced a vast array of entries from exciting new technologies and services, coming from startups to established ventures while all driving progress in West Africa.
