Standard Bank, a bank based in South South Africa, has issued a statement which revealed that the financial institution is currently experiencing slow responses on some of its banking platforms.

According to the statement issued by the bank, “customers will have noticed that online banking and the App banking platform is currently not available.”

Standard Bank also revealed that this has impacted the customers’ ability to do transactions at Standard Bank branches. However, customers can still perform transactions at any of our ATM’s and point of sale devices.

“Our technicians are currently attending to the matter. Standard Bank will inform our customers when normal service levels are restored. Standard Bank would like to apologise for the inconvenience that this has caused, and would like to assure our customers that everything is being done to restore services as quickly as possible,” the bank concluded.
