The founders and Directors of BitCo have offered their network and vast experience in ICT to up and coming new market player Shycom in an exciting new partnership that is a key part of BitCo’s entrepreneurial development strategy. Selling BitCo products exclusively, Shycom has the added benefit of accessing the intelligence and insight behind BitCo’s success while it brings new opportunities for market expansion to the collaboration.
The joint venture is now also optimally positioned to provide customers with unique products and services, in line with national BEE policies, demonstrating the willingness of an established tier one company to meet its responsibilities in terms of good corporate citizenship by embracing and actively enhancing the capacity of a black owned business enterprise.
Meanwhile the overarching vision for Shycom is to become a reputable and competitive company whose knowledge, expertise and proven experience allows it to exceed the expectations of both consumers and the industry.
Shycom Managing Director Siva Govender had critically researched and evaluated several telco’s with the aim of partnering to realise his ambitions. After a significant amount time conducting this investigation, he says that it was obvious BitCo was his preferred choice. “BitCo is consistent in their mandate and focused on their objectives”.
For its part BitCo, believes fundamentally in making electronic communications accessible for all. As a result their contribution to ensuring Shycom’s debut was a natural step in the company’s evolution.
