ITNewsAfrica’s most recent bi-monthly Innovation Dinner Series was held on 27 February at the Hyatt Regency in Rosebank. Under the theme ‘BYOD – re-thinking your device strategies’, the event provided an effective platform for networking among Africa’s ICT professionals, entrepreneurs and business people.
As some corporations embrace the mobile, remote workplace and others start to allow employees to buy their own hardware, IT must go beyond desktop virtualization to manage risk and control performance.
The dinner was sponsored by HP and Avanade South Africa and provided business executives and decision makers with a holistic view of how personal technology is changing and infusing the workplace – offering the ability to drive innovation and productivity to new heights.
