Moonwalk data available in N. Africa, Middle East

North Africa and the Middle East’s leading data storage distributor StorIT announced that it was partnering with Moonwalk to deliver new and innovative data management services to the region.

Moonwalk is a specialist company dealing in large-scale data services.

“StorIT will exclusively distribute Moonwalk products, which are used across various industry segments like banking, healthcare, government, research and development, education and resources,” StorIT said in a statement.

The Moonwalk single-technology system can be fitted and designed for any company or oganization’s needs to assist in data management.

“Moonwalk is expected to complement StorIT’s service and product offering in the Enterprise Storage, archiving and cloud space,” the company said.

StorIT said it has “coupled Moonwalk software with its own product, which provides complete file archive systems that serve as an alternative to costly Tier 1 storage infrastructure. StorIT’s portfolio of vendors includes EMC, Quantum, Mellanox and QLogic. Moonwalk software operates across major file systems like Windows, NFS, Linux, Novell and NetApp.”
