8•ta extends data promotions

8·ta, South Africa’s fourth mobile network operator, has announced that it is extending the 10GIG, 3GIG and 120GIG data promotions until the end of March 2013. The prices of the promotions will also remain the same throughout the period.

The 10GIG 24 month contract promotion is available at a cost of R199 per month for a 10GB data bundle with the option of an additional 10GB Night Surfer add-on bundle at an additional cost of R100 per month for use between 11am and 5am.

The 3GIG pre-paid option which is valid up to the end of the next calendar month costs R149 once-off and consists of 2GB of anytime data and 1GB of Night Surfer data for use between 11am and 5am.

The 120GIG pre-paid option which is valid for 12 months costs R1800 once-off and consists of 60GB of anytime data and 60GB of Night Surfer data for use between 11am and 5am.

New and existing pre-paid subscribers (this includes pre-paid per minute and pre-paid per second) must call the 8ta Call Centre on 081180 or 081183 to convert their current pre-paid rate plan to the pre-paid per second billing data promo rate plan.

This will enable the pre-paid subscriber with access to purchase the Once-Off Internet 60GB promo + 60GB Night Surfer Bundle and the Once-Off Internet 2GB promo + 1GB Night Surfer Bundle.

iPad pre-paid users will have to activate a new pre-paid Micro SIM card to have access to the pre-paid bundle, conversions will not be allowed from existing iPad pre-paid SIMs to the pre-paid PSB Data promo rate plan.
