The inaugural TDA has been labelled Africa’s leading technology showcase and will focus on two key sectors: enterprise technology and eGovernment. The event will feature several live product demonstrations, keynote presentations by local and international speakers as well as lively panel discussions.

Organisers of TDA and sponsors of the event, including Adobe, Britehouse, IDC, Interactive Intelligence, Motorola, Rorotika, Telkom, TriVector and Umuntumedia, are pleased about the participation of Newton, saying that his inclusion reinforces the appeal and credibility of the event.

“We are delighted to have someone of Stephen’s calibre chair this event, a very important date on Africa’s ICT and telecommunications calendar,” says Abby Wakama, publisher of IT News Africa.

“Our line up of speakers is impressive and reflects the level at which we are aiming the event. The range of technology on display represents next-generation solutions that are now accessible and available to the rapidly growing IT and telecoms market in Africa,” he continues.

Newton has confirmed his attendance and looks forward to engaging with local and international media, executive managers and IT specialists in a joint celebration and review of how far Africa has advanced technically and what the continent can offer to the global digital lifestyle and communications front.
