Canar teams up with Dublin technology firm

Sudanese telecom company Canar announced an agreement with Dublin-based technology company i-conX on Tuesday.

Canar will receive integrated billing and routing optimisation around a core database.

Ali Ahmed Yarouf, Canar CEO, said, “As the Sudanese telecom market is becoming increasingly competitive, the implementation of the i-conX routing optimization solution is considered an important step for Canar to maintain its leading status.”

The i-conX solution supports Canar international traffic growth, enhancing quality and management.

Canar, owned by telecommunications company Etisalat Group, wants to expand in the region.
