Gadgets such as the latest smart phones and tablets are likely to feature at the top of the wishlists of a broad spectrum of individuals – from teenage cybergeeks to senior business executives – this festive season.
But are they wishing for the right thing if they want the unprecedented freedom and power these gadgets can bring to one’s work and play?
Andre Joubert, GM MWEB Business believes they should also be asking for more bandwidth: this adds to the value of the device as it creates an almost seamless experience for the user.
He points out that this season’s hottest gadgets are likely to be upstaged by others that are hotter, sexier and smarter by Easter (if not by Valentine’s Day).

Joubert warns, however, that while there are a wide range of exceptionally affordable uncapped ADSL offerings available, users – particularly business people – should ensure that they opt for a solution that suits their requirements.
