Sony launches new PlayStation Network PLAY

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has introduced PlayStation Network PLAY, a new program showcasing four of the season’s hottest action titles.

Starting 10 August, 2011 gamers can get more action when the PLAY lineup becomes available for pre-order on PlayStation Network.

With each pre-order from the PLAY program made in PlayStation Store (pre-orders will be available for a limited period) gamers will receive a theme for their PlayStation3 system.

PLAY also offers gamers a separate gift with purchase for each order made throughout the duration of the program which ends on 20 September 2011.

In addition, PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive an automatic 20% off every PLAY program purchase if they make their purchase on or before 20 September 2011.

As a bonus gift, action fans that purchase all four PLAY titles in the PlayStation Store on or before 20 September 2011 will receive a PSN voucher code for Sony Online Entertainment’s PAYDAY: The Heist, at no additional cost.

The 2011 PlayStation Network PLAY lineup is Street Fighter III Third Strike Online Edition (August 24), The Baconing (August 31), BloodRayne: Betrayal (September 7), Renegade Ops (September 14) and the bonus gift is PAYDAY: The Heist.
