Nedjma gets mobile business plan moving forward

Algeria’s Wataniya Telecom Algerie, also known as Nedjma, announced that it was introducing a new promotion for enterprise customers. The country’s mobile operator said that it would option a one-month free subscription to its “Nedjma Pro Controle” service. Any new or existing customers are eligible for the promotion and can take advantage of it until April 17.

In a press release, Nedjma said the “plan offers free calls between a company’s mobile phones, price flexibility and the possibility for the enterprise to set end-users’ individual communications budget.”

Analysts say it is a “smart” move by the company and will help to bolster their customer base and attract new users to their service.

“The promotion is likely to see Nedjma continue to put its efforts into customer service and this is a smart move in the right direction to do that,” said Said Abdelmajid, an analyst with a local telecom advisory company.

According to the company, the starting prize is DZD 1,000 per line monthly, “with calls to fixed and mobile numbers in Algeria starting at DZD 5 per minute, national SMS at DZD 3, international SMS at DZD 14 and GPRS at DZD 0.08 per kilobyte.”
