BlackBerry 9800 White

A white version of the hugely popular BlackBerry Torch 9800 smartphone is making its appearance in South Africa.

Classic and stylish, the must-have smartphone is already a huge hit in South Africa, with the likes of Jennifer Su, Louise Carver and Penny Lebyane being seen using the device. The pure white smartphone sees a new take on the original black BlackBerry Torch 9800 and, with a chic matt finish, is has a new and fresh look.

The BlackBerry Torch 9800 is the first BlackBerry® smartphone to combine the new touch screen experience with an easy-to-use QWERTY keypad, offering users the best of both worlds. The BlackBerry Torch 9800 features a 5 MP camera with flash, built in GPS and Wi-Fi® and pinch to zoom technology. The device also comes complete with the new BlackBerry® 6 operating software.

BlackBerry 6 features a redesigned interface that seamlessly works with the touch screen and trackpad, includes expanded messaging capabilities with intuitive features to simplify the management of social networking and RSS feeds (Social Feeds), and provides integrated access to BBM™ (BlackBerry® Messenger), Facebook®, Twitter™, MySpace™ and various instant messaging applications available on the BlackBerry Torch smartphone.

Its enhanced multimedia experience rivals the best in the industry and includes a dedicated YouTube app and Podcasts app. The universal search feature allows users to quickly find content on the smartphone, as well as extend the search to the Internet or to discover applications on BlackBerry App Worldâ„¢, which is included and now supports credit card payments.
