SAP Education is offering visitors to South Africa during the football tournament an opportunity to improve their SAP qualifications by offering free certification from 21 June to 16 August 2010.
This offer is valid for the 1st 50 confirmed bookings.
“We are expecting many thousands of visitors to South Africa during the period of the football spectacular, and it made sense to optimise the time of people who would most likely attend a course here at some point anyway,” comments Johann Pretorius, Education Director at SAP Africa. “We are therefore offering to discount the course fees by providing free certification – which is the examination component of the course.
“This is the first time that we have undertaken such an initiative, which is apt considering that this is the very first time the soccer showpiece is being hosted in Africa. We are therefore expecting many visitors from the rest of the continent, which is a region thirsting for knowledge and one of our most active territories.” Added Pretorius
SAP Education Africa is a leading provider of SAP training and certification on the continent, and has fully-equipped facilities at its head office in Woodmead, Johannesburg.
Pretorius says SAP consultants are increasingly in demand in the region as more companies convert to its business management solutions.
“East and West Africa are two large regions in which we have seen tremendous growth over the past number of years, which has naturally led to growing demand for SAP skills,” he says. “People with certified knowledge of the system are therefore highly sought-after.”
People who wish to take advantage of this limited offer can enroll between 21 June and 16 August on the SAP education call +27 11 235 6362 for enquiries or email: education.southafrica@sap.com
