AMD today announced the appointment of Bernard Biolchini, 46, to Vice President Sales and General Manager for Middle East, Turkey & Africa (META) region.
Biolchini will be responsible for driving revenue growth and enhancing business opportunities in the region, by managing all regional sales and marketing activities. He will report to Alberto Bozzo, corporate vice president and general manager EMEA.
“Bernard comes to AMD with a successful track record of delivering outstanding results. His strong business development experience will help AMD meet our ambitious business goals for the region”, said Alberto Bozzo, AMD corporate vice president and general manager EMEA.
Prior to joining AMD, Biolchini served as president and managing director of INVENSYS Controls EMEA, serving industrial automation, transportation and controls businesses. Previously, he spent fifteen years at HP in various senior positions, leading marketing, sales and channel activities at the EMEA level.
