Integr8 Group has assisted property management company JHI with its Data Centre management (MPLS network with redundancy) and Microsoft & Citrix infrastructure service and support.
A primary objective of the installation was to advance the organisation towards Cloud Computing, centralised servers, secure ease of administration and achieve stability.
“We have consulted with our client and put in place infrastructure that makes a measurable difference to core operations. This is very important because the advancement of trade and success in engagement with the market remain key differentiators within both domestic and international markets”, explained Bennie Strydom, Sales Director, the Integr8 Group.
The privately owned national BEE ICT network integration and infrastructure management specialist previously partnered with JHI to deploy a large-scale ICT consolidation and infrastructure project.
The installation allows JHI to advance towards cloud computing and offers the organization significant savings on bandwidth and administration cost; centralized user data and application, as well as improved access to shared services.
The installation involved the combination of technologies including eDirectory; the latest version of Microsoft Exchange; Citrix Xenapp Servers; WSUS and Backup and AV deployment on the latest versions of Symantec Backup Exec. The project included migration to an MPLS infrastructure.
