Talks on future of Fujitsu Siemens Computers

Discussions on the future of Fujitsu Siemens Computers ahead of its becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fujitsu are scheduled for next Monday in Europe.

Fujitsu Siemens Computers will from 1 April become a 100 percent-owned subsidiary of Fujitsu from 1 April 2009. Fujitsu believes this is a positive step to ensure the company’s continued growth.

Fujitsu Siemens Computers is present in all key markets in Europe, Africa and the Middle East serving large, small or medium-sized companies or private consumers, while its Infrastructure Services division is active in 170 countries. The company benefits from the global cooperation and innovation power of both its shareholders, Fujitsu Ltd. and Siemens AG.

The company currently operates as a 50:50 Joint Venture between the two companies.
