TICKETS for for the 2010 FIFA World Cup will go on sale worldwide tomorrow (Friday, 20 February 2009) via the official website FIFA.com. In addition to the online version, a paper ticket application form will be available across South Africa for South African residents via the FNB branches as well as internationally upon request.
Tickets applicants are first invited to join the FIFA Club on FIFA.com.
The launch of the ticket sales was made at a media briefing held at the Sandton Convention Centre with David Will, Chairman of the Ticketing Sub-Committee for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, chairman and Honorary FIFA Vice-President, Hans Klaus, FIFA Director of Communications & Public Affairs, Jaime Byrom, CEO of MATCH Event Services, Horst R. Schmidt, FIFA consultant for the 2010 FIFA World Cup and Executive Vice-President of the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany, as well as Danny Jordaan, CEO of the 2010 FIFA World Cup Organising Committee South Africa
