The event, organized by The University of Lagos and the Nigeria Information and Communication Technology Forum, is scheduled for Lagos from November 17-25.
It will culminate in a conference that will assess the application of technology in Nigeria’s education sector and to foster research and learning in Nigeria.
Sekyen Niyang, project officer of the Nigeria ICT forum of partnership institutions said “The Nigerian Network Operators Group, ngNOG, is a forum for cooperation and exchange of technical information between operators of internet connected networks in Nigeria. Its purpose is to accelerate ICT capacity building and prepare delegates for more advanced training on network infrastructure and network services.”
The first NgNOG workshop and meetings was held in 2006 at the University of Ibadan.
It has grown to become an event held at this time of the year.
