Nebula Expands its South African Footprint

Cape Town based Nebula, a professional services company in the ICT and telecommunications sectors, has announced the expansion of its national footprint, with today’s official opening of an office in Centurion, Gauteng.

As a professional services organisation, Nebula performs the role of independent assessor and advisor at board level to organisations wanting to improve their ICT and telecoms costs or investments, while helping increase the effectiveness and efficiency of organisational infrastructures.

According to Daniel Nel, CEO and Founder of Nebula, the establishment of a Gauteng office is a strategic move by the company to expand its telecommunications consulting, outsourcing and benchmarking services nationally for which he says demand is growing by around 50% per year.

The new Gauteng office which Nel predicts will exceed the Cape Town office in terms of revenue growth in the coming year, will offer Nebula’s full suite of service offerings. Nel says his company has received particular interest in the Gauteng region for his company’s Outsource Telecommunications management Services (OTMS) capabilities, which to date have been serviced from Cape Town.

“Our offices in Gauteng are symbolic of our long-term commitment to the Telecommunications and ICT industry,” he adds. “Nebula’s client portfolio has expanded nationally and thus we needed to establish a permanent footprint in Gauteng.”

With Gauteng being the telecommunications hub in SA, he says that Nebula will also use Gauteng as the springboard to assist its current clients with their expansion into the rest of Africa.

Since its inception eleven years ago, Nebula’s clients have represented the top 300 companies in South Africa with a strong focus on the vertical markets.

The Gauteng office will focus on the banking, retail, insurance, petrochemical, manufacturing, mining and parastatal sectors
