Nigeria: wins RIMA Foundation’s 2008 Award

September 5, 2008 • Enterprise IT, Nigeria’s foremost online interactive map has won the prestigious 2008 RIMA Foundation award for the most innovative and successful project using Geographic Information Systems .

The award under the GIS Projects category was given to Spatial Technologies Ltd (STL) the owner of the interactive online map portal at a colourful ceremony held at the luxurious Sheraton Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos on August 30, 2008.

STL is Nigeria’s leader in mapping and location base technologies.

RIMA Foundation awards are given as recognition to organisations (public and private) that have demonstrated excellence in their chosen fields, designing and implementing products relating to
Information Management, security and technology for the benefit of their profession and humanity. Some companies that also received RIMA Foundation awards in the past are Shell, Guarantee Bank,
