New Integr8 rise seals in market value for Sea Point

Must Read

I8_property.JPGAn investment north of R100 million in the new commercial property development, The Equinox, as developed by long standing partnership consortium, Integr8 Property, Berman Brother Group and Gordon Miller, has gained an overwhelming amount of interest in the commercial property sector.  The building, previously known as Medical Square, was snapped up by the consortium in 2006.

The partners demolished over half the building and recently completed the award winning seven story AAA-grade commercial, glass clad development in the heart of Sea Point.

Robert Sussman, CEO of Integr8 Group, associate to Integr8 Property, has moved the offices of Integr8 IT’s Cape Town operation, previously located in Mouille Point and the V&A Waterfront to the new prestigious building.

“Sea Point is growing at a phenomenal rate and is increasing in popularity within the commercial and business enterprise market. The business landscape reflects this process and we are proud to have established the first modern AAA-grade commercial building of its kind in the area,” adds Sussman.

Benefits of this location include convenient access to highways, City Centre, and the Waterfront.  There has been a lack of premium commercial space in the area, with corporate grade employers being limited to working in the City Centre, Century City and Southern and Northern Suburb areas.  There is a key advantage for employers to work near their residences in a position that is also fully geared with public transport.

The building is fully kitted out according to modern commercial standards with built in generators, daicon ducted air conditioners, secure parking, concierge, 24/7 armed security and recorded and monitored surveillance cameras.  The retail space has already been fully let with a host of sushi, South Asian and cakes and coffee deli’s to cater for the buildings occupants, allowing for  today’s workplace requirements.

Sussman says the building is being kept by the consortium as a long term investment and is not being sectionised nor sold.

“At the end of this month we are launching an exciting product on the fourth floor, which will allow for the release of only ten unique office suites around 100sqm per unit, to be let on a waitlisted selection basis. This is ideal for the small-to-medium sized operation or national companies that require local Western Cape presence, as it offers practical office presence to cover a growing marketplace,” adds Sussman.

“We are also going to release our last available corporate space for a single tenant to occupy an entire floor space with direct lift access.  This is prime for a company’s corporate head offices,” he continues.

The vetting process for prospective tenants is to begin shortly and businesses can contact Gwyneth Voges for more information at (021) 439-9986 or gwynethv@integr8it.com
