Networks Unlimited, a Sub-Saharan distributor of IT Security and Networking Solutions based in South Africa today announced the company’s growth over the past three years has been a staggering 68%, 47% and a phenomenal 101% respectively!
An impressive result considering the company is in its 14th year and still growing strong. The company is spear-headed by the expertise of its Directors, Wayne Bird and Craig Copeland who have nurtured its growth since 1994.
During the 2008 Financial Year Networks Unlimited ensured a remarkably successful first year of operation, with the PGP product line as well as the IronPort product line-up, after introducing them to the market only the year before. The company also completed the handover of the NetOp range of products to their BEE start-up Sisonke Software Solutions.
Even the acquisition of SurfControl by Websense at the beginning of 2008 proved to be a smooth transition for the growing company as they adapted to the merger with minimal administrative problems.
Networks Unlimited has continually met or exceeded vendor targets and expectations for their Tier 1 products, whilst introducing three additional world-class vendors to their already impressive list of products namely Riverbed, nCipher and Evidian.
Daniel Garratt (CA)SA, the Chief Financial Officer of Networks Unlimited, has forecast an incredible growth rate of 108% for the 2009 Financial Year, achieved by:
• Building capacity to handle the avalanche of business from Riverbed
• Rapidly introducing Evidian and nCipher to the market, with a dedicated head
• Continuing to aggressively grow new markets and farm existing markets for their core Tier 1 products: IronPort, PGP and Websense.
“Our growth is built on a strong relationship of trust with our channel, and our superb engineering expertise” – Daniel Garratt.
