Screen Africa believes it is important for the industry to know how to leverage this new entertainment platform by understanding what is involved in capturing and sharing of user generated videos via mobile phone and what content works on mobiles.

Magnus Rademeyer / Livio Carsaro from Liv which offers an application containing a downloadable client application which resides on the handset and allows users to capture video content and upload it onto the server. The service works across all three mobile network providers;
Jason Xenopoulos is a filmmaker and media entrepreneur. He will speak about the need to develop innovative, custom-designed content and marketing solutions that are appropriate for the mobile platform.
Stanley Edwards is a Director and Partner at Platypus Productions. He regularly attends international new media conferences and content markets and has a broad understanding of how cross platform content can be developed to be relevant, entertaining and engaging. He will also speak on how User Generated Content and Social Networking can be used on the mobile platform.
