In an effort to boost network and information technology services in the Democratic Republic of Congo, global provider of IT and network infrastructure software solutions Alepo Technologies announced last week that it has successfully deployed an affiliate module for the management of MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) partnerships within the Cielux network.
It is the first MVNO partnership for Fastnet, a subsidiary of Simco Group, which is active in mining, hotels an pharmaceuticals, but is also venturing into the ISP business.
“Cielux’s existing Alepo Billing System will continue providing support for internal rating and charging while extending the network’s utility into partner networks,” the company said in a press statement.
“Cielux first partnered with Alepo in 2009 to roll out 4G services in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC),” it added.
The DRC is continuing to bolster its Internet and mobile infrastructure in order to help boost overall penetration and ability for users to have access to the latest technology that is solid and which runs smoothly.
