Huawei yesterday received “Best Telecommunications Supplier Company of the Year” during the Kenya Information &Communications Technology Excellence Awards (KICTEA) 2009. The event whose theme was “Investing in Our Future” was the 14th event to companies for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the enhancement of computing and Communications industries.
Speaking during the event, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kenya and Minister for Local Government Hon. Musalia Mudavadi said, ” I wish to congratulate the award winners for their high quality services which attest their outstanding achievements, and more so the ICT industry for its remarkable advancements. This demonstrates the high level of innovation, creativity and our strength as a vibrant digitally-driven country that is constantly striving for excellence.”
