Digital Solutions Group (DSG) received the “Best App Developed by an Agency” award at the 4th annual New Generation Social & Digital Media Awards gala hosted in Johannesburg- for its work in the design and development of the TransUnion Check1 mobile application.

The New Generation Awards are aimed at attracting the country’s top social and digital media experts, across agencies, as well as in-house corporate marketing teams – and over the last few years these awards have gained great respect amongst agencies and corporate South Africa, alike.

The award was accepted by Yaron Assabi from DSG and Kriben Reddy from Transunion. Speaking after the gala, Moihlobudi Moabelo, GM for Digital Customer Experience (DCX) at DSG said: “We feel incredibly fortunate and proud to have received this award, which is testament to the success of the app, we designed and built, as well as the lasting quality of our work.”

Targeted at the motor industry, the TransUnion 1Check application creates a single interface that delivers all the power of TransUnion’s database of information – and a diverse range of solutions related to risk management, fraud prevention, valuations and business process enhancement and stock management – in the palm of the user’s hand. It offers an integrated solution for dealers who need to need to be able to access information on the go and in real-time – so as to make better data driven decisions on their buying or selling.

“TransUnion has a long standing brand presence and reputation as being a trusted source for dealers when making vehicle trading decisions – and we are thrilled that this application continues to be an extension of this and their business operation.
