IT News Africa caught up with Brett Loubser, WeChat’s head of Africa, at the Tech4Africa conference – which was held at the Sci Bono Centre in Johannesburg.
Recently, IT News Africa also spoke to Gareth Knight, creator of Tech4Africa in order to discuss the concept of the USD $50 smartphone as well as its impact on Africa. Knight also listed the Top 10 benefits of the $50 smartphone in Africa, which can be viewed here.
