Global video sharing giant YouTube has once again released its annual list of the most watched videos on the site, and while Ylvis’s The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?) and PSY’s Gentleman M/V scored the top spots in Global Top Trending YouTube Videos and Global Top YouTube Music Videos, respectively, Nigeria’s Flavour moved into the top spot for the country.
With 9.8-million views, P-Square’s Personally outscored Flavour’s Ada Ada by more than 6-million views.
“In addition to music and comedy, Nigeria also had its share of highly talked about news content that got everyone sharing, liking and commenting. Videos like the Channels TV’s interview with the NSCDC commandant (popularly referred to as “Oga at the Top”) and the toe-to-toe #girlnotbride conversation between movie celeb Stella Damasus and Senator Yerima on the Al-Jazeera show The Stream were some of the most emotional Nigerian moments on YouTube,” wrote 360nobs.com
