Today at its 2013 Samsung Africa Forum, Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos. With its dual-SIM feature, the Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos has been designed to provide consumers across the continent with a premium and affordable smartphone solution to help balance their work and personal needs, says Samsung Electronics Africa.

“This is the ideal smartphone for people who have busy lives and are always trying to move between their work and personal mobile devices. By offering these users a phone with a larger screen and keyboard, not to mention dual-SIM support, we are giving them the opportunity to do both easily from one smartphone,” says Jason Kim, Regional Product Manager for Mobile at Samsung Electronics Africa.
Additionally, at 5-inches, the Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos offers consumers a bigger screen and keyboard for easy viewing, browsing and pocket portability. “This is a premium device that has been designed in such a way as to let people experience the digital lifestyle in the palm of their hand without having to sacrifice screen size or performance,” adds Kim.
Based on the Android JellyBean operating system, the Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos provides for easy multi-tasking, has a powerful camera, and all the connectivity features needed for the fast-paced world of today.
“People want to be connected, engaged, and entertained virtually around the clock. Featuring all of the innovative Samsung smart technology services including AllShare Play, S-Voice, and SmartStay, we are excited to provide consumers with a device capable of meeting all their business and personal requirements without having to swop SIM cards,” concludes Kim.
