Takealot’s Blue Dot Sale 2025 officially kicks off on 25 November and runs through to 1 December.

The 2025 Blue Dot Sale follows a record-breaking 2024 event, where categories such as homeware, small appliances, toys, and tech topped the charts. Among last year’s most popular items were Samsung TVs, Hisense appliances, Apple iPhones, PlayStation consoles, and household staples like dishwashing tablets and energy drinks.

Launching earlier than ever, shoppers can expect up to 60% off thousands of products across tech, beauty, sports, home, and everyday essentials. This year’s sale builds on the record-breaking success of 2024, with TakealotMORE members gaining exclusive early access from 24 November at 6 am.

“Each year, we see incredible engagement from customers across South Africa,” says Karla Levick, Chief Marketing Officer at Takealot. “We’re proud to deliver exceptional value and reliability to millions of shoppers who continue to choose Takealot for the best deals and a seamless online experience.”

TakealotMORE members, part of the Takealot Group’s subscription service, will receive exclusive early access to the Blue Dot Sale, opening a full day ahead of the rest of our shoppers at 6am on 24 November. This benefit allows members to shop all Blue Dot Sale deals first.

Takealot expects 2025 to surpass last year’s performance, with continued growth and a strong appetite for online convenience driving increased sales across electronics, home appliances, and beauty categories. While traditionally Black Friday is the big day, Takealot anticipates strong sales momentum from early November, reflecting how South African shoppers are increasingly taking advantage of our Blue Dot Sale and Black Friday deals.
