It’s official… The Resident Evil 2 Remake will be getting a “1-Shot” demo on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam.
From January 11 through to January 31, players will have one 30 minute shot to play as rookie cop Leon S. Kennedy as he explores the Raccoon City Police Department (R.P.D).
The demo will be similar to the demo that the developer had at various events since the game was first unveiled at E3 in 2018, and you’ll be able to explore the R.P.D. as you like; however, you’ll be on a time limit. Once the allocated 30 minutes are up, so is the demo. Thankfully, you can continue if you die, or if you complete the mission objective.
No matter how your demo ends, you’ll get to see a brand-new trailer exclusive to the demo when it’s done, giving you another taste of what to expect from Resident Evil 2 in just a few weeks.
