What is the core focus of your business?

The focus of Cura is to enable GRC professionals to effectively and efficiently identify business opportunities and manage uncertainties within their organisations. We partner with our clients to provide visibility and clarity through the flexibility of our software, the commitment of our teams, and the agility of our business.

What have been the company’s biggest highlights for 2018?

Cura released our NextGen version of our software platform in 2017. We have seen a mass adoption of this version in 2018 across our customer base. We have also experienced a lot of interest and new clients come on board as a result of the industry-leading capabilities of this version of our software.

Could you tell us about your future plans and upcoming programs?

We are launching a number of new business models which leverage off the flexibility and strength of our product. We have been testing the business case of these new business models in regions where we historically have been doing business. Now that these have proved successful, we will be taking these to scale in the upcoming months.

Why are programs like the tt100 beneficial to enterprises?

Working with programs like the tt100 is an essential component of our business as they ratify the modern approaches we have to managing (the way we approach the management of technology). This endorsement further helps us attract the best IT professionals in the business, which further strengthens our offering.

How has winning the award impacted your business?

Besides the obvious positive marketing and brand reinforcement spin-offs, it has been great from a staff moral prospective as the teams work hard day in and [day] out in order to put us in the position where we can be confident enough to enter these programs. Coming off as winners really shows the teams that they are truly great at what they do.

What advice would you give to future leaders who are starting out within the same industry?

Research, research and more research! In such fast-moving industry, you need to have a solid plan before you start in this space. You also need to continuously add more and be willing to reinvent the way you do things or you are going to be left behind before you even start.
