Samsung Electronics has launched a new 4G enabled smartphone, the Galaxy Grand Prime Pro (2018) in the Kenyan market. As revealed by the firm, the Galaxy Grand Prime Pro features a rear curved-edge design, which has been optimised for comfortable handling. It also comes in a variety of modern colour schemes.
When it comes to technical specs, the Galaxy Grand Prime Pro has a 5-inch screen, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera as well as added features including Smart Wi-Fi, dual messenger and 16 GB internal storage.
When it comes to Smart Wi-Fi, the Galaxy Grand Prime Pro stores your Wi-Fi history and will automatically switch on and off when entering and exiting frequently used hotspots. This, according to Samsung, will allow for seamless connectivity while reducing mobile LTE data usage when moving in and out of Wi-Fi zones.
As revealed by the company, the Galaxy Grand Prime Pro will also feature Samsung’s Secure Folder which is a security solution that lets you create a private and fully encrypted space to store and hide content such as photos, documents and voice recording files under an additional layer of protection that only you can access.
The device will retail in Kenya for KES 14,499.
