MTN extends Black Friday deals.

On Thursday 23 November 2017, South African telecommunications company, MTN announced a new array of Black Friday deals which will be running from this Friday 24 November 2017 through to Cyber Monday 27 November 2017. MTN revealed that customers can walk away with free devices, televisions and data deals of up to 100Gigs.

“This day is increasingly gaining in popularity and is becoming a major shopping trend in South Africa and customers are always on the lookout for specials. As MTN, we aim to deliver a bold new digital world and by extending the Black Friday deals, we know we are going to further brighten the lives of our valued customers,” says Jacqui O’Sullivan, Executive for Corporate Affairs MTN SA.

“This is one of the most important dates on the shopping calendar and it is imperative we understand the demands of customers out there and meet their expectations with superior services and experiences,” says O’Sullivan.

According to MTN, prepaid customers have not been left out of the deals. The company will be offering all customers on MTN Zone and MTN Muziq price plans, a guaranteed discount of 95%, during the HAPPY HOUR timeslot from 15:00 – 15:59 daily from Friday, 24th November 2017 until Monday, 27th November 2017. Customers must dial *141*4*2# to move to MTN Zone.

“MTN is encouraged by the positive market response received from the Black Friday and the 50GB promotions last year, which went a long way in bolstering contract subscriber numbers, stimulated voice and data consumption and built brand affinity. We aim to do even better this year,” says O’Sullivan.

“We are excited and pleased to once again give our customers the opportunity to stretch their rand a bit further over the mega deals weekend period. This is the season for giving and we aim to offer plans more regularly and drive uptake of the tailored Made for Me plans. We look forward to hosting and welcoming Black Friday shoppers – whether at our dedicated stores or online – over the Mega Deals Weekend period this year,” O’Sullivan said.

Below are the specials for the weekend:
