Sony XZ Premium priced at R14,999 in SA

Sony Mobile held an event on Wednesday night to showcase and announce the latest models of the Sony Xperia collection; including the launch of the Xperia XZ Premium – voted the Best New Smartphone for 2017.

The event took place at the Mall of Africa in Johannesburg.

The Sony XZ Premium features a 4K HDR-capable screen and Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor which is aimed at ensuring high-speed connectivity.

The Xperia XZ Premium packs a water/dust resistant design, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, a 3230mAh battery and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

In South Africa: The smartphone is available at a recommended price of R14 999 on prepaid in South Africa.
