After a turbulent week in South Africa which saw President Jacob Zuma reshuffle his cabinet which resulted in a collapse in the economy and an eventual downgrade to ‘junk status’ by rating agencies, South Africans came together and mobilised in mass protest action calling for the president to step down..
Led by the Democratic Alliance and civil society group SaveSA thousands of South Africans who took to the streets in protest.
