Reports have surfaced that Nokia is set to relaunch of the Nokia 3310. The reports are yet to be confirmed as the company has not released an official statement. Renowned for it “die hard” capabilities the Nokia 3310 had what we now know as basic features namely durability, long lasting battery life, ringtones and custom phone covers.
The phone was first released in the year 2000 and it is not clear what upgrades will be added to the modern-version of this handset.
Before retiring production in 2005, the 3310 sold 126 million units, making it the the world’s best-selling phone.
Nokia is said to reveal further information about the relaunch of the phone at the Mobile World Congress to be held at the end this month.
Many people have reacted to the news on social media with some people speculating that the device will comeback as a revamped smartphone.
