Electronics Arts (EA) had a strong showing at the 2016 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). EA kicked off E3 first this year, ahead of Sony and Microsoft, and showcased the likes of Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1, Mass Effect: Andromeda, FIFA 17, and various Star Wars related content.
During the presentation, the powerhouse publisher revealed a new initiative dubbed “Play to Give.” According to EA, the initiative offers gamers the chance to take on a variety of online challenges in which will ultimately raise a total of $1 million for five chosen charities: Code.org, CODE2040, HeforShe, National Center for Women & Information Technology, and SpecialEffect.
